After an hour or so trying wedding dresses on, my friend Becky and I header to this beautiful boutique and tea rooms on Cheltenham Road, Bristol.
After a good look through the Lunch Menu, we decided to go for the 'Lilyis Afternoon Tea (A Special Treat!)'.
Priced at £21 for two people (tea option), we found this to be great value.
The tea came in a large pot with different cups and saucers. They had a wide selection of 15 different loose leaf teas to chose from, we settle for 'Mr Darcy', of which is a English Breakfast tea.
For the lunch there was a choice of 5 different sandwich fillings. We settled for egg/cucumber and tuna/sweetcorn. A small selection of homemade cake slices were given and presented lovingly on the second tier.
And to top it off, there were two large scones with fresh clotted cream and locally sourced jam. We loved the fact that the cream and jam was in expresso cups!
The atmosphere in there was warm and comforting, we were also lucky to have live acoustic music! The roaring fire gave the room a cosy feel, and the fireplace alone was stunning to look at.
I think we ended up staying there for a good two hours or so, we never wanted to leave.
With such friendly welcoming staff and amazing food, we will certainly be visiting again in the near future!
If you do ever visit, do visit their boutique next door full with pretty dresses and vintage items for your home.
